Saba proudly declares
itself "The Unspoiled Queen" referring to her unspoiled
nature and inhabitants. Population of 1400 People.
Saba has no crime, no high rises, no traffic or traffic
lights, no pesty insects, no crowds, no fast food
restaurants, no casinos, no cruise ships and no
beaches. Instead Saba's guests enjoy quaint villages
among friendly locals, Hiking, Diving and snorkeling.
Ten to fifteen restaurants offer an array of cuisine
from outdoor barbeques to fine dining, all at reasonable
prices. Saba’s volcanic origins have blessed her waters
with spectacular formations and structural diversity.
From shallow patch reefs to deep water seamounts, muck
dives, pinnacles, wall dives and more. Saba offers
interesting diving at each depth and for every diver's
experience level. The Saba Marine Park offers 29
permanently moored dive sites that are all reached with
5 to 20 minute boat rides from our Fort Bay base of
operations.
Price of trip:
DIVER – $1054.00
NON-DIVER -
$586.00
Bubble watcher- $35
per day on each trip you go on, paid in Saba Dive Store,
not to Castaway
Airfare not included
but ask Castaway for assistance. We fly into St. Maarten,
then either ferry or fly over to Saba.
American, Delta, US Air, Continental all fly to
St. Maarten with reasonable rates out of the states.
Flights running $547 R/T from MCO to SXM then
$135 to Saba R/T.
Payments accepted-
$150 non-refundable deposit required to reserve
your space
Final payment
due March 15, 2008
Departure tax, if
applicable to be paid at airport upon departure
Saba Marine Park
fees are to be paid on Saba to the dive center at the
end of the trip based on number of dives. The fee is
$4/dive/diver.
